1 – 3 April 2024 (3 days)
In cooperation with the University of Malaga (UMA), the International Institute for Tibetan and Asian Studies (ITAS) is offering a three-day intensive Tibetan language course. We are happy to offer a possibility to taste the Tibetan language. The course can be attended on-site or online.
During these three packed days, our lecturer will help you achieve your first step in studying Tibetan – reading the Tibetan script. This time, we set ourselves a bold goal – after just 3 days, everybody will be able to read a text in Tibetan and write down the correct transcription in his or her own language!
The course is open to everybody interested and does not require individual preparations.
Date: 1 to 3 April 2024 (3 days)
(about 3 to 4 hours per day, probably in the afternoon)
(The course takes place right after the Karma Guen Easter course)
Location: Probably Karma Guen (possibly University of Málaga instead) or online (Zoom link will be sent to you before the course)

This course is meant as a teaser to find out one’s interest to really engage in studying (Classical) Tibetan. We plan to offer courses on Classical Tibetan starting after summer 2024.
